What is a hackathon?
A hackathon is an event usually lasting a couple of days, in which, teams collaborate to code a product that matches the given requirements, in our case, the theme.
Why join a hackathon?
A hackathon can provide lots of learning, regardless of how experienced of a programmer you are. At BitStream, we provide access to workshops, support, as well as feedback on how your project can be improved to take it to the next level.

How can I join?
To join the Hackathon, fill out this form and join our Discord server! We will host the hackathon and give announcements on the Discord server. Also, check out our Instagram! We will be conveying information through that as well.
How does this hackathon work?
To participate in the hackathon, start by forming a team of up to 5 people, or join solo if you prefer. If you don’t have a team, we’ll help match you with other motivated students.
On May 17th at 10 AM PST, the theme will be announced. From there, you'll have two days to build the most impactful project possible related to the theme. At the end, you’ll present your work and complete an interview, with your project being judged and eligible for prizes.
